Leandra was at Holt Renfrew to help launch Holt Renfrew’s new blog, Holts Muse.

The US-based store, which comes from the same parent company as Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein, now has its men’s and women’s clothing available at Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga.

The store opening celebrations included Jim Kelly, which works into their NFL-focused campaign Institute of Style with GQ magazine.

The 4,500 square foot store offers a full range of men’s and women’s modern classic sportswear including suits, shirts, pants, casual wear, outerwear and accessories.

Van Heusen is located at 775 Brittania Road, Mississauga.

Ben Sherman has officially opened its doors on Queen Street West in Toronto.

The British men’s wear line, which is well known for its shirting, is now set-up for those looking for great men’s wear in Toronto.

The store-front allows window-shoppers to more closely examine specific looks (updated weekly) by pressing a button, which controls an air-powered pneumatic system which moves the selected look 360 degrees. The system takes in air for one hour each morning, and runs each day until 11 p.m., so shoppers after hours can still gander the different looks.

Ben Sherman was entirely designed out of the UK by Brinkworth (the same team that designed the new All Saints stores), and includes over 40,000 custom-tiles, which cover the stores interior and peeks out into the entrance. With its tile and large wooden cases, the store has the vibe of an apothecary’s shop.

Ben Sherman Toronto is located at 734 Queen Street West, and is open seven days a week.

This project involved giving out more than 1,000 cameras to more than 1,000 people in North America through street campaigns in major cities like Toronto, New York, and Chicago, as well as online.

This lounge had it all. From Calvin Klein Underwear to a 10-day supply of VitaminWater and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt (which is probiotic, so the underwear will still fit), and Elizaeth Grantfor men to help ensure that people stay, feel and look their best through the tumultuous ten days of TIFF.

Elizabeth Grant Skincare provided key products for both men and women, including their Biocollasis and Socializer lines.

John Frieda Creative Consultant Alain Larivee was on hand to give some extra bounce and volume to the hair of of lounge guests. In this case, Carole Park was getting ready with her ‘ready to meet Ryan [Gosling] hair.’

Hard Candy was on hand to provide the perfect mix of cosmetics to last the long days of films, parties, and well, more parties.

Essentials Lounge also hosted Winks Eyelash Boutique and Spa for some eyebrow maintenance. I myself have allegiances elsewhere for my brows, but hope to try out another of Winks’ services.

Overall, it was a great second year for the Essentials Lounge and I look forward to sneaking some Menchies into movies over the last few days of TIFF.
